At the end of the weekend, you will be going home with your completed 'first successful quilting project'.

"NOT JUST FOR KIDS"

FARM EXPERIENCE

FARM - FUN- FOOD

Ever dream of staying at a farm, interested in becoming a farmer, or just need to check off an item on "your Bucket List" ??????

Come stay at the Royalsborough Inn and Fiber Farm and join us for a day of farming.  We have an active fiber farm that includes alpaca, llamas, cashmere goats and angora rabbits.  We have  our animals' fiber processed into yarns and roving and sell them in our farm store.  A day on the farm may include some of the following:

  • greet our animals each morning

  • enjoy a great breakfast before you start your day of chores

  • helping feed goats and poultry

  • learn about raising alpaca

  • take an alpaca or llama for a walk

  • take a picture with an alpaca

  • learn about fiber and fiber products (visit our on site store)

  • play "Alpaca-opoly"

  • a pocket size alpaca 'Teddy Bear'

It can be a great learning experience and a lot of fun.

The cost for this "bucket list adventure" is only $249 for two in any room in the main house and includes breakfast each morning.  Tax and gratuity is not included in price.  Other rooms in the Inn are available for an additional cost. Children are welcome for an additional cost.  This special is only available the third weekend of every month except July, August and October.

INTERESTED IN ALPACA???

Want to learn more about alpaca and alpaca farming?  The best way to learn is to see farms in operation and ask questions. Come to Maine and visit some wonderful farms!

We started our adventure in late 2005. Following sound advice we visited many farms, large and small.  We have met knowledgeable and helpful people in the industry, each one with their own experiences to share.

We built our farm on the property of our country inn.  Alpaca are livestock easy to raise and afford a nice tax incentive.  Each animal has their own personality.  Our guests have often told us that they are sooo cute!

Come stay at the Royalsborough Inn for a few days.  Visit our farm, meet our alpaca and learn more.  (Perhaps feed the animals or help with farm chores.)

Learn how you can be reimbursed for the cost of your room.
