Weekend starts Friday evening ending Sunday morning with a meditation to help you seal in the weekend's peaceful energy to take with you as you move forward into a new week. Maine Maple Sunday – March 28, 2010 “Maine – the way life should be”
The Royalsborough Inn invites you to visit Maine for the weekend and enjoy Maple Sunday, a yearly festival celebrating the harvesting and processing of maple syrup. Stay two nights in one of our comfortable rooms each with their own fireplace and private bath. Start your days with a delicious Maine breakfast highlighted with real maple syrup from a local Maine farm. On Sunday, you’re invited to our friends farm-“Jillson’s Farm and Sugarhouse” (www.Jillsonfarm.com) to learn about Maine maple syrup production. Sunday’s* agenda will include: · Serving homemade maple breakfast all day ($11/adult, children u/12 $5.50) · Free samples of maple syrup and the farms own sugarhouse maple ice cream · Self-guided tours of the sugar bank, sugarhouse and the barn · Making Taffy in the snow · Maple products, pickles & jams available for purchase Rooms will start at $208, tax and gratuity not included. While at our Inn you can visit our Farm where you will see Alpaca, Llamas, Cashmere Goats, Angora Rabbits and Chickens. We also have a farm store where you can purchase Maine products, including yarn spun from our own Alpaca, rovings and clothing and more. As we march into Spring the Royalsborough Inn invites you to come to Maine and enjoy some peace and quiet, the new buds appearing on the trees, and the plants breaking through the ground. To help you get here, we are offering our own incentive - lowering our prices. You can select any room in the main house, with all the room amenities and a delicious breakfast each morning for ONLY $99/night, double occupancy (tax & gratuity not included) or the Isaac Royals or the Pine Tree for ONLY $129/night. Want to learn more about alpaca and alpaca farming? The best way to learn is to see farms in operation and ask questions. Come to Maine and visit some wonderful farms! We started our adventure in late 2005. Following sound advice we visited many farms, large and small. We have met knowledgeable and helpful people in the industry, each one with their own experiences to share. We built our farm on the property of our country inn. Alpaca are livestock easy to raise and afford a nice tax incentive. Each animal has their own personality. Our guests have often told us that they are sooo cute! Come stay at the Royalsborough Inn for a few days. Visit our farm, meet our alpaca and learn more. (Perhaps feed the animals or help with farm chores.)
