A Peaceful Escape...

A warm welcome awaits you just minutes from downtown Freeport. . . Situated on six acres of lovely fields and woods in Durham, Maine, the Royalsborough Inn at the Bagley House offers a comfortable and peaceful, country setting, away from the bustle of in-town life.

The main house consists of a living room with working fireplace that greets arriving guests; the adjoining library offers an extensive array of books and games, a massage/spa, and four guestrooms, each furnished with antiques, hand-sewn quilts and, private baths.  The country kitchen with its wide pine floors, hand-hewn beams, and beehive oven is in the Ell.   

The Carriage House has three large suites with queen beds, gas-log fireplaces, cable TV , and full private baths.  The Carriage House also has a comfortable and warm common room with a wood burning stove.  This room can be that can be used as a meeting room for retreats, family gathering, or classes.

Visit the Namaste Alpaca Farm and Farm/Gift Shop located on the grounds of the Inn.  “Just one touch….fall in love with an Alpaca”.  Alpaca are magnificent animals, serene but commanding. They are very inquisitive often staring at you as you watch them in the pasture.  Their positive energy just begs you to touch them, but only if it is right with them.  In our store you will find lovely alpaca yarns and imported alpaca clothing products and other fun gifts.
